Dave Downing, Watershed Technical Specialist
Dave was born and raised in Lane County and has been with the Upper Willamette SWCD since April of 1998. Prior to joining the District as the Watershed Technical Specialist, he was an owner/operator of a family farm north of Eugene. Since joining the District, his primary focus has been to assist agricultural producers with resource concerns to improve their farm’s profitability by increasing the efficiency of the operations, as well as addressing non-point source water quality contributions to assist in improving overall watershed health. Dave’s strength is that his background allows him to relate to producers’ issues while providing them with District services.

Sandi McIntosh, District Secretary
Sandi is our part-time District Secretary providing customer service, grant application management, fiscal administration, executive support to the Board of Directors, and website design, maintenance and updates. Her extensive background in office management provides our customers, staff and management with administrative and accounting support, and a welcoming smile.
