News & Press
The Upper Willamette SWCD is sponsoring a Kindergarten through 12th grade poster contest that provides an opportunity for students to share their ideas about soil, water and related natural resource issues through art. This year is the 10th anniversary of the National Association of Conservation Districts' (NACD) annual poster contest and the theme is "SOIL TO SPOON." This theme emphasizes educating students on where their food actually comes from and how soil relates to food production. The contest is free and open to all K - 12 students in our District. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st place winner in each category!
