Conservation Planning
Conservation staff at the Upper Willamette SWCD work with landowners to develop individual plans for which practices and management plans will best protect soil and water quality, and plant and animal health. The conservation planning process looks at a variety of tools that landowners can utilize to meet their conservation goals.
Conservation planning is ideally suited for farm operations, however the same concepts can be used to develop plans for forest conservation, water quality, and wildlife habitats. Anyone who manages farm or forest land, or manages more than an acre of land, should consider developing a conservation plan.
